Are you an SEO/SEM in Mexico or Brazil?
I'll be visiting Mexico from Feb 16-24 and Brazil from Feb 24-Mar 3 for the purposes of meeting other SEO's, learning about the local search marketing environment and culture, and generally beginning to learn more about and promote those two countries as excellent SEO targets for international businesses.
If you live in either place (specifically Mexico City, Acapulco, Cancun, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) I'd love to meet with you - I'm also looking for local contacts and sources, and can in turn introduce you to my other contacts and sources internationally. I'll buy the beer :)
And, just to make this post more interesting, I'm in the process of finishing up (finally) my book (International SEO) and I'd like to share with everyone the top 20 international SEO/SEM countries (there may be a few surprises in here for some people):

I'll be in Rio from Feb 24-28 - if you happen to be in the area, I'd love to meet you and learn more about the Brasil market, if you have time. 3 hours is a long way away, so I understand if you can't get the time off, of course. :)
I find it so interesting that you are exploring the latinamerican market.
It's a shame you won't be here in Colombia. Believe it or not, SEO has been growing quite a lot over here in the recent years.

I'm always looking for information and contacts in specific areas, and I firmly believe that the best SEO/SEM to use for Columbia is a Columbia-based SEO/SEM. Every area is different, and the locals know best.
I think the entire Latin American market is under-rated internationally, and I'm on a personal mission to help educate people and companies around the world to invest and market in the area.
I so jealous you're going to Mexico and Brazil. When is the next time you're going to visit Canada?
Hello Ian! How did your trip went?
It went really well, and I learned a lot I could not have from books, the internet, etc. Nothing beats being there.
I'll probably be back, and this time I hope to visit more countries. I'm considering attending the SMX Sao Paulo conference, as well.
